Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Buy this diamond in the rough

This stock is like gem at this price. They have tons of assets and could be an acquisition target of tier one OFS if they can't survive. They have been in ofs fields for 35+ years. I wouldn't be concerned. Price will double by this year end end unless oil goes to 40$. Bought 100k at today price.

Believe you are drastically overvaluing the assets here! With the debt load they carry who is going touch this turd?

Outside of property (land only) you must keep in mind that they are having issues with supply chain even keeping parts on the shelf for clients let alone any PM on assets, ask Schlumberger what they thought of that pumping fleet they took over in South Texas and the shape it was in.

It is next to impossible to have anything done to an actual WFT owned facility. Perhaps the ones they lease and can complain, but then again that is not an asset that would go in a sale, it would revert back to the company that was leasing it ---- (consider that severance for management as most of those lease deals in the US with buildings are with managers who buy the property and lease it to WFT). Nepotism, Conflict of Interest, Corrupt - all standard business practices.

How do you think this company got to where they are at? It was by telling the workers to consider the best interest of the company and hold on that raise or bonus was going to hit next year. This was while management was living by the creed of look out for yourself and heck with the company or anyone else.
