Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

It has begun, but you all knew that

The beginning of the end is here.

First we had the dirty silent layoffs, the. The stupid ACT, then amazing profits all were obvious smoke and mirrors at the failure of strategy and execution.

Now first Apple and soon many more will leave

Intel needs to spin off those losers at TMG and give their designs to TSMC. Will be much better off over time. Poor little chicken s***ts at TMG lie, steal, bust their own employees kneecaps, etc just to stay employed. They have failed to advance technology and have been surpassed by the likes if TSMC and Samsung. Don't feel a bit sorry for them. Lol.

If I were Intel I would re-examine their position on getting rid of older talent. It appears the younger talent isn't getting it done.

no accountability to TMG leaders AK and AS after they drove huge brain drain of top technologists, micro-managed minutia while ignoring fundamental trends. you cant instill a strategic mindset - no matter how many Stanford retreats they get sent to - on leaders that behave as if they are litho area managers.

why arent they ACTed upon?

The failure to maintain Apple as a customer may be the final straw for TMG. In any event, it is probably cheaper for Intel to provide it's chip fabrication designs to TSMC for build. At least that company meets it's intended schedules. Intel chip fabrication has gone down the toilet since BK assumed role of CEO, but he does have this option as an out, and uf taken, would look like a hero.

Where the hell is 10nm? 14nm B$ and the 14+ and ++ can’t hide the total FUBAR from TMG

Those were the same reason Apple dropped 68000 and Motorola and then the same with PowerPC and IBM, can’t execute and you are gone. Look where IBM and Motorola is with silicon and Fab, that is TMGs future too!

All going east baby! TSMC and Samsung have kick your a$$
