CAO seems to order for the updated set. Once your WM has a reset, your CAO seems more accurate. It will order for displays called out for Comac, anything extra, you add manually. Don’t even bother with display tracker. It’s a pointless step. If quantities are unusually high when ordering, just get with the dept. manager and check your on hands. It’s not that hard. I see it as a sign of the end. But crying about it isn’t going to pay my bills
Not of matter of if it's when at this point. DSD won't survive in this CAO structure. If we struggled to hit numbers before, how are we going to hit numbers with CAO?
Thanks for sharing what you learned! No doubt this is going to end dsd.
Just got off the conference call they are basically using us as test dummies... lowing objectives....changing all deliveries to 40 case minimum....having us get with a manger to cap our product.....hardly no backstock.... and we can’t change any other for the first 2 weeks. Wake up open your open we will be gone in about 2 months. They already have been testing it out in the southeast. Hate to see us loose our jobs. We all know how big nabisco is on us hitting our objectives. Everyone please start looking for something else. Don’t wait to the last minute because they will tell us the last minute.
Conference call won’t say anything negative as they don’t want you to know the fact we are leaving dsd! Period! Stop being so naive and get your head around the fact dsd is ending!
Stop cheerleading for nabisco game over
Conference call will not say anything negative as we are staying. Our system is just changing a little.
Ok I will let you all know how the conference call go it’s scheduled for 2 tomorrow.
Let us know how the conference goes. I'm here in the Midwest and no conference call scheduled here yet
Next time your in an account with a strong relationship with the grocery manager, ask them what happens when a company goes, “just CAO”. It is the beginning of the end of dsd! It may be a few months so they can work out the bugs but there are NO “just CAO” vendors that have sales reps in the store to write orders once the bugs are worked out and then they go warehouse which means the end of merchandisers. Quit trying to convince yourselves your job is safe, it is NOT! DSD is ending, and yes eventually for coke, Frito lay, etc. Frito has been testing dsd for a longer time because their route to market is much different than others but the amount of cross docked product had increased tremendously!
As dandy Don used to say on MNF "Turn out the lights the parties over!"
Just CAO?!?!?!?!?!?
Sounds like the end of DSD!
Just CAO!!!!!
I received the email! I’m in the South! Don’t wait til it’s too late! OPEN YOUR EYES! All the evidence is there. I won’t be the fool.
its just CAO people. We will still be doing same jobs.
Not sure who this person is but this person is spot on hit send on your resume time to look after yourself game over
CAO is coming in waves. They are testing it in waves to work out the bugs. Retailers want to ensure when they roll it out it is precise. At Kroger division where they are testing now, reps review order and add or delete. After Oreo sale some stores were generated to receive large quantities of Oreo because it was going off sale info. That’s the tweek part. Also reigned in in incremental selling, going by sales plan and green sheet. Mondelez won’t divulge any info until they have to. Reason for the rally meetings, info was leaking due to CAO testing. The ball will drop soon, Kroger will make the call as to when.
CAO must be coming in waves. I haven't received an email about CAO here in Ohio. What part of the country did you receive the email?
Looks like their too many nabisco cheerleaders on here
Fake news guy, you live in lala land! It’s in the horizon!! Stay inside, lock the door, and bury your head under your pillow and you’ll be fine! If you get concerned just call your boss and he’ll reassure you! Rest of us live in reality!
Fake News! Game is far from over!!!
Game over should hit send on your resume. Quit spreading rumors!
SR here in Ohio.
I haven't received any email about a phone conference call on Monday about cao for walmart.
Only one I received is another town hall call in May.
Look they don’t want any part timers to know about it or full time merchandisers it says in the email don’t forward to anyone but mangers, DMs, SR, and order writers. Open your eyes up they don’t want them to quit they will tell them at the last minute. Sad thing is a lot of people will loose their jobs. You have to WAKE up and look at the facts!
It’s all about how many brinks trucks nabisco can take to the bank sales may drop off some but profit and dollars will go up. Dsd is over your a fool to think otherwise game over
Time to hit send on your resume. Don't be the one left playing music on the titanic. Quit drinking the Nabisco Kool-Aid and Game Over!
We weren't notified of any mandatory conference call on Monday. When were you notified of this happening?
Why would nabisco keep huge over head when the competition Kellogg has limited overhead and is out executing nabisco at the corporate level with mandated display programs at retail with less overhead..only this paid nabisco cheerleader below believes dsd is staying been drinking the nabisco kool aid for to long reality isn’t an option for this person
Sad to say but you guys and gals better open your eyes up! The email says CAO rollout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mandatory Conference call what don’t you understand.
Keep guessing Game over person! You don't know! We're not going anywhere. Store's have enough to do. They don't have time to do DSD
It was suppose to be gameover in Jan, then February, then March, now April! Mr.Gameover you will get it right one of these days, but stop blowing smoke up everyone! Also it was gameover last fall, you actually know nothing. The only people that know are in the board room.
You live in a fantasy land if you truly think we are too big to exit dsd! Currently retailers control all but two or three aisles of their entire stores, u really think they could not pick those up?! Be for real! Think about Kroger and how many aisles are warehouse, only a couple that are dsd. Take the volume of your store by week and then divide by 7, that’s how many cares they would have to work nightly if it came in their truck! Think they cannot handle that? Be for real! It is game over!
Don’t listen to the paid nabisco cheerleader below game over
More "Fake News!"
We're not the elves! We make money. Have power brands. Store's can't handle our volume. We will never go warehouse. We're too big. Nothing to worry about folks
Only one I received is a town hall for May 14th
