Rif dates were changed. Will now happen in the May/June timeframe most likely. Still happening though according to MGMT.

This is true, My husband was told this week his IT position is being eliminated. The last day is July 1st. He will get severance, which is equivalent to about 2 months worth of pay. However we we're just moved from another state (No relocation assistance), sold our fantastic home had to move and purchased another for this so called "IT Promotion", and was told this was position is permanent. My husband has only been at his new job for 2 months, and then told this week that the job was being eliminated. So we upgraded our whole family and home for Verizon to let us go. This Company does not care about it's employees or their families.

A buddy of mine used to whisper the most outrageously silly, fake rumor to the loudmouth in the location and, by the end of the day, that fake rumor had morphed into fact, by simple virtue of it’s now arriving from four different quarters, lending it false legitimacy, as it had now been “verified” by other sources.
Fake news becomes real news or, worse, self-fulfilling events simply by virtue of it’s being thrown out there, put on the table, so to speak.
