Just got word from my Store Manager that he has a meeting next week that he has to attend. He says he has no idea what it is about. Apparently, there will be regional and district managers attending too. This is in the Northeast. Could be something or could be nothing.

It's 9 box. Rating each member of management.
My post should have read " who is promotable".....not profitable.
The managers should be more concerned with updating their own resumes than concerning themselves about who in their stores is profitable.
Getting promoted to a lead or ASM position at Sears nowadays may as well be painting a bullseye target on your back with the eliminating of lead and ASM positions and mass closings of stores......30 or 40 years ago would have been a different story.

It's just the Talent Management meeting. Grading associates with the 9 Box grid to determine who is promotable.
Annual shareholders meeting is next week also.
