"This is what we do, Natalie. We take people at their most fragile and we set em adrift."

G. Clooney. Up in the air.

Destroying something good takes no talent. It becomes mindless when it is paid for.

Mr. Buffet said he didn't believe in technology stocks. Then he bought IBM saying it was a well run business. Then he sold IBM (gently in bits and pieces). Then he bought Apple. Mr. Buffet has a dilemma - he sits on 100 billion in cash at a time that the market is overpriced.

It would help immensely if Mr. Buffet was elected to the IBM board, and was to do what Ginni should have done up front - take a walk in person and assess for himself how IBM is run. The empty cubicles, wasted opportunities, and many shattered lives is a cold sobering slap in the face awakening of the rape and pillage of a once great American icon.

The first order of business would be good long shuddering cry. The second would be to avoid succession to an insider.
