These are a joke, just like exec. I know one C/S who lives less than 5 miles from her "territory". Was told they would have to move. Has a nice house and spouse is happy so a RA3 is leaving the company over 5 miles and being forced to relo.
Know another that is a high performing RA3 that can't even post for these C/S jobs because they have an offer already. Doesn't matter that this is the third time the posting for this particular city has been up. Move or else...
This is one way they are wiping the slate of older workers.
@T0irdMU-1kae - same thing happened to a friend of mine, they are 10 miles away. They are not in an urban area, so no commute issue. Company just created secret territories and staffed them. Funny thing is, they still won't tell the TM level what the new territories are!
I heard of someone 8 miles from the "correct zipcode" that was not offered a job, but still lived in the srea they would work

The down side is that there is a story behind each one of the positions listed. I know of CS positions that are posted because no one lived in the new territory however, there is a qualified rep nearby without an offer. WTF, why didn't they just adjust the territory and give the job to the nearby rep? I know a TM in the same position. High performer, well respected and they have to post for the job. Is it more cost efficient to move someone else in and pay her a severance??? The company is really screwing with peoples lives here and hurting morale in the process.
