Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

The only ones affected by us being short staffed, is the customer. Which affects the bottom line.

Sorry I'm not going to move any faster. I just can't.

I know for a fact that the expansion of WFM's competitors in my area has made WFM irrelevant. Customers are leaving and it's non store level decisions that are making them leave in droves. It's over. Get out if you can.

I bet the higher ups in charge of The Mid Atlantic Region are petrified and they should be. The a-holes who fired men and women that made this region what it presently is will be really sorry soon. I bet they already see the writing on the wall. Good luck, you’re going to need it.

It’s just a grocery store go in do your shift then get out and do something you enjoy. If you are not in leadership no reason to take it so seriously you are not saving lives you are feeding people. WF has decided to sacrifice customer service and TM happiness because they realized no matter how bad things are people will still shop there. There will always be new recruits to fill shifts for a few months before they get fired or quit they are fulfilling chimpanzee level tasks in most cases.

I’m done with Whole Foods. They’re not the same anymore. Thanks, Amazon! You finally pushed me to another grocery store. I’m done!!

All our Act's do is walk around the back of the store doing OTS walks every single day! They are never, never on the floor. When they are called for needed assistance they don't answer or show.

OTS has taken away any form of customer or floor coverage. Bright idea. Well done fools.

This is all part of the master plan. To let us slowly fall apart, so then Amazon moves in and takes about half the store. turn it into a fulfillment center. And have consumers order, and have it shipped to them or available for pickup. But we have to drop the ball first. So things are only going to get worse.....

I hear it every day. I'm going to another grocery store. Sorry, I love Whole Foods, but you just are not providing the service that I demand. Believe me, they will pay for it.

Exactly. Reducing labor and increasing ridiculous OTS demands (to justify someone at corporate's position? Cmon amazon please do away with these desparate losers) only decreases customer service quality. I'll just keep watching as frustrated TMs call out sick, shelves aren't stocked, and customers complain every day because no one is on the floor to help them or the checkout lines are crazy long
