The thing about all this 'change' is that it's not just 'bad boys'...it's the entire 'bully' and 'cool kid' culture that's poisoned the well.
Promoting 'bad girls' isn't helping the cause either.

Long list of talented men and women pushed aside since 2004. Actions > words, and little to no track record of promoting and retaining women in that org.

Remember those executives that berated a designer who left Nike for Adidas? @Zappitello called him a 'douchebag' and @hammertime said 'always a follower, never lead #motherfaker'. That's about par for the course for that cadre of folks that rose up through the marketing ranks. @hammertime was ridiculed by his underlings for being such a s--- up to the leader of that group.

There has always been a jock culture at Nike, but it wasn't evil. The bully culture came in from Europe and really flourished under TE. he loved to be coddled by his underlings and to pick out a few people to bully. Then the whole team would bully them. Publicly, privately, organizationally. There are a more bad apples to go.
One of the women that was just promoted to a major executive role is a rumored big-to me bully, so...hmmm.
Can only hope those who bullied publicly on insta are next and not just rewarded with CMO positions based on friendships. Same goes for the ringleader, the very large argentine guy who likes to yell in women’s faces.
Won’t settle until hearing some names from WD+C.
