CA mentioned, there were several teams at QCT, which have not had any layoffs yet, since the Qualcomm was looking for the buyers. My team (not QDT, but under QCT) was not affected by the layoffs yet. So, if there is no deal, Qualcomm will layoff the whole team or just a few engineers? Should I start to send my resume?

Cadence PHY IP portfolio has wider coverage and more advanced design, no way they will pay high price for the notorious qct junk phy. They will simply shut down the group like QDT when time comes.

Let me guess. Cadence's offer 'materially undervalues' the group. Hmmmmm. Q seems to have a lot of arrogance about its own self worth. $82 anyone ?
Cadence has IP site in NC but not SD. They only want to keep the QCT PHY team there.
