You cannot be surprised by the fact they are not being forthcoming with info are you? This is how they roll.
It's a shame that this company isn't being honest! Store's are telling me that they're taking over ordering and merchandising within the next few month's. I'm not a troll either. I'm just someone that wanted to pass on the information that was given to me. Good luck all!

Walmart in our region is going to CAO first week in June. Confirmed in our area. As we have conference call next week on details of this. Kroger I have been told will follow a few months later supposedly. First 2 weeks of Walmart CAO we cannot touch the orders and are allowed to tweak after that.

For 3 years it’s been game Over, get a life already. If it happens it happens. Take the severance, take the car, enjoy the 26 weeks and live off the government! A big layoff they have to offer severance. So work while it last, maybe today, tomorrow, 10 years from now. Been told by management that they're taking over ordering at Kroger by August. Believe what you want.
Game over!! DSD is dead! Mondelez is putting the consumer first they said on the town hall call! Putting the consumer first by eliminating DSD. That way Mondelez stays competitive on pricing. It all makes sense to me!
My personal opinion is that DSD will be gone. Seen it happen in Canada and suspect it will happen in the U.S. I suspect it will be a phased closure as not all customers would have the infrastructure in place to handle this volume. Purely speculation on my part though.

Right now CAO at Walmart is coming in on the Nabisco trucks. We're still merchandising but I'm pretty sure it will be going warehouse sooner than later. I'm in the South. We're the test area for CAO at Walmart.
60 days notice as required by law. If we exit dsd in September, just go back 60 days.
Product coming in our trucks.....initially. I’m sure there is going to be a learning curve for retailers so after they have the hang of it, bet it starts coming in their trucks, marking the end of dsd. Wait and see!
So does the product still come off your trucks for Walmart or is it all going through WM warehouses?
If CAO is starting up at Walmart in June and Kroger in July, when does Mondelez plan on telling us?

I’ve never put a date on it but I would bet “by September” is exactly right! With WM going CAO in June and Kroger to follow, it is just around the corner! People are nuts to think otherwise!
Totally agree! I've only been here for 7 years but I see the signs and red flags! DSD is dead! People need to wake up! Quit listening to upper management! They'll use you up till they have no more use for you! DSD ending is a moving target. One thing I know is that it's ending soon. We'll be done by September.
Haha, one thing I do know is that dsd is dead! Watch and see fool! Put your head back in the sand, you’ll know soon enough to take it out! This plan has been in the works for quite some time, if you opened your eyes you’d see! Troll, elf, whatever makes you feel better. Truth is I’m a 25 yr veteran of Nabisco and grew up with the co cause my father worked there as well. The signs are so painfully obvious but it’s sad so many people choose to look the other way!

There are roughly 1100 Publix stores in the country, there are 2700 Kroger owned stores and 4700 Wal Mart, excluding Sams Club. Do the math! The majority of Dirks changes will occur within the first 6 months-9 month as is typical for a new CEO. People need to wake up and realize DSD is ending! Sales reps won’t go into WM after CAO begins, maybe for a week or two! No point! Kroger still testing but will rollout by July or August. Bottom line is profit people!!
Publix and Harris Teeter are CAO in some parts of the country. Management must approve all changes. Now take that power away in every WM and Kroger (and affiliate) across the entire country. Won’t work! Dad will end! Was told today third party suppliers are already seeing an increase in product, just as they did before Keebler left dsd. It won’t be long!
DSD won't survive without Walmart and Kroger. Publix is a small player! You will soon find out non believer!

Publix went computer automated on there orders with Nabisco over 6 years ago. You guys should have started this post back then about us going away. Keep guessing.

Never thought it would be announced this way, so no surprise! WM is going CAO beginning of June, August seems to be about right for dsd ending.
