If you want to protect yourself from termination at the end of this Q open an retaliation and compliance case at your local labor office or at SEC

If you know something, it might be better to go outside the company, to the SEC. Safer for you, perhaps, than trying to get someone inside the company to care.

You are always welcome to approach Oracle's friendly and supportive compliance & ethics to protect the most ethical company ....

And you soon find yourself part of the layoff

This thread was original about a whistle-blower at Symantec, somehow it seems to have gotten off track and into Oracle stock price with respect to layoffs.

This is interesting in the original article posted:

"Sean X. McKessy, a former chief of an SEC program that rewards whistleblowers for turning in firms that violate U.S. securities laws"

Apparently, the SEC rewards whistleblowers.... wonder what the reward is.

Oracle has enough money to cover up everything for ages. Do not expect any kind of public announcement. And remember, WARN notice is only for US..... there is nothing like that in EMEA and APAC.

Will there be layoffs may 31st? yes, definitely.

Will be a carnage like back in sept17? yes, most probaly worse in absolute numbers (stll have to see the final numbers since the new EMEA presale org under CY is still to be finalized next week), even if more "diluted" in time (starting last week of may and ending last week of june) and space (this time EMEA and APAC will be hit much harder than US)

Will be across the board? no, definitely not, Just like back in sept17, this carnage will hit mainly the no more existant System group, now split in c@c under DoK (to be hit in a very light way) and sso under RvG (to be hit very hard, both sales and presales)

Will there be any influence on the stock? nope, in my opinion. The influence will eventually be the Q4 and FY18 results, much worse than expected.

Oracle won't report Q4 results until mid-June. So May 31st can come and go with no news. Layoffs can be done quietly - as in, small enough numbers and spread out over time so as not to trigger WARN notices.

LE has been playing this game a long time, scamming people while y'all were still in diapers.

If sh-- does hit the fan like folks on this board have been saying, it means LE and his stooges have finally run out of financial engineering tricks, which I highly doubt in today's climate where companies get away with sh-- you wouldn't believe.
