POS, you're a number just like everyone else, EVERYTHING you do can be outsourced, for less, remember that, Verizon doesn't need you, they just need someone to do your job, and if it can be done for less, it will be. Verizon doesn't need landline, there are plenty of states where Verizon is not the landline provider, and wireless works just fine.
