Everytime his email comes, it looks like Q has exploded into an amazing new territory and won designs. Is that to just keep Q folks motivated or is it just a ploy. I am inclined to think the latter but getting communications is better than none, I guess

Its called trying to use up over supply of older part that undersold........average Amazon buyer wont know or care.

CA = Quckoo for Qocoa Puffs, kool-aid drinker, escapee from looney bin. Whistling through the grave yard - probably shouldn’t have sent those Amazon emails to QDT, just the folks still with jobs in CA.
I was like WTF is wrong with this guy. Is he freaking nuts. Since 60% of QDT will be laid off - I couldn’t care less about snapdragon slabooks and a sales pitch on Amazon.
All the brains behind those products have jumped ship and are now using that experience with competitors.
I would take an HXT support job, just to get canned in 6 months - maybe without WARN or severance.
I’m interviewing in earnest. Sigh - had to take a code test. Only been coding for 20 years. I’m guessing SM and the head rats didn’t have to take a test on how to make good decisions.
They have broken trust with the work force. They told us over and over we would be funded till 2020 - and didn’t expect to make profits until then.
I don’t believe anything they say. The rah rah meeting last week was so full of crap I can’t believe they said it with a straight face.
I, for one, have a burning passion to work for a competitor. The same passion I USED to give the Q. Quicksand and Qbert.

That's what I thought. He seems to be a slimy guy from his all-hands talk too. It is one thing to create "feel good" with employees but for their pay-grade, they need a talented technical visionary.
He is a moron. Those product announcement emails started all of a sudden. He is trying to create feel good feelings such as "heart felt thanks" etc etc.
The guy was no where when qdt announced its first parts for commercial shipments. It was a significant milestone. Now for windows tablets and amazon shopping?? Duh.
