Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Layoffs done?

Any chance there will be more layoffs at Intel this week (specifically in Santa Clara?)

The whole 65 laid off last week seems way too low, and I keep fearing that more is to come sometime soon.

Haven't seen any indications of it, but you never know with Intel.

Yes, it's time for more layoffs. This action is BK's claim to fame, the only thing that he is remembered by and keeps him relevant. Disguises all his bad business deals. Ya put a test tube wielding chemist to run a high tech company and this is what you get.

@2ggu - Yes, the orange clown is clearly also vindictive and short-sighted.

Please let FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) or Harry Truman be in charge of this country and let us unionized and condemn this new gilded age!

Layoffs will not be over as long as a vindictive, short-sighted clown is in charge.

Won't be surprise if it do happens... BK's Intel is on a vengeance to get rid of older highly paid employees. Morale is at a all time low. Even has a town hall meeting with HR to answer why only zero to 2% raises this year. Needless to say, it didn't go anywhere.. That's because all the raises goes to BK. Check out whats happening to Tesla.

Those were highly targeted, not performance

Huge layoffs coming as Intel will not be able to compete in 2019-2020. No product roadmap whatsoever, and 10nm still MIA.

Just performance actions as far as I can see
