Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Another hopeless Consulting re-Org..

as usual promoting the re-org by EVP/ RG --kicking out previous consulting SVP/ ( MG ) [ BTW.. what a waste of pay for 2+ yrs..) --thank him for doing nothing but begging sales people for 2 yrs. to throw a bone to consulting--and sending powerpoint deck each quarter claiming that things are ok, blah..blah..

so the new SVP is from accenture-- the RG for the first time..very..very gently asking sales folks to (pleaaase) include oracle consulting in your deals as prime contractors to move clients to cloud..

what RG missed was..to scrap useless middle managers who've been doing nothing for the past 3 yrs. but approving vacations..some managing only 3 to 5 people..

with such a large idle number of consultants, buggy transition cloud products, poor cloud training and given the overall negative sentiment of oracle sales toward consulting,. it looks like another dismal low activity year on the beach" for consulting... when is the next pay day?

Consultants can't move customers to clouds that don't exist.

Project Operation Nowhere.

There are cloud deals to add consulting to? Where are the cloud deals to do this with?

You can't hire out consultants on cloud deals that don't exist, right?

Who is running NA consulting these days? Is it AL or someone else? Do they all roll up to HD?
