How sad is it that the only team that seems to be safe is US Cloud Support? Everyone else is battling for their job and everyone i talk to in support says they cannot hire fast enough. This seems very backwards.

@TFlB8uy-yjs good intel. Txs ! I think the same is going on for a lot of EBS support but it can be pretty busy at times ! I still think on-prem generates the money,
What is the split for Fusion/Non Fusion support SRs ? Anyone know ?
You mean Utah? All cheap hires.
Let's just say that if I didn't move, the chance of getting laid off is high due to that Fusion support gets the lion's shares of the SRs now. My old position was not replaced and the team remaining in EBS support for that particular module are now doing more work(this will make their metrics look good I guess). This is at one of the major support centers here in the US.
: @TFlB8uy-qrl "That's why I transferred from EBS to Fusion support"
Were you asked ? Or did you just apply ? I am guessing it must be at a bug hub right ?
Which IC support position without much work expectancy you think is the safest for the next few years?
OP, what do you mean by "US Cloud Support"? Many in support do the cloud now.
That's why I transferred from EBS to Fusion support. EBS is dying and Fusion, well, let's just say that Fusion is sub-par hence the need for support. Talk about job security.
just curious..when a customer decides to migrate data,apps,etc.. in the cloud-- who are the first candidates on oracle side to help them? does Oracle consulting get a piece of the pie? or its 100% operation/support..?
Support sounds like the place to be right now. Especially over CB’s Customer Success team. I’ve been reading this posts and thinking I’m glad I’m not caught up in that mess she has built. I spoke to my friend who has been in OMC CS and she said they haven’t gotten bonuses in multiple quarters. Shocked CB got a chance to mess up all of the applications business after her sub par track record.
