All these GMs with stores closing and you pick an SM to promote that's been fooling around with half her district plus her GM? Good job ta02

Verizon has a boys/girls club culture. I've seen a lot of good and qualified employees passed up on promotions because they were not in the good graces of the hiring manager. While less qualified employees got promotions because they were always brown nosing with management. Open your eyes and look around and you will see that I am exactly right.
I know this because I am one of those people. I got my two promotions not because of my great track record like going to multiple winners circles or my great interview, but because I get along well with my managers. I say things around them that they want to hear but when they are not around I'm a totally different person. They like me and I know it and I use that to my advantage. Play the game and you will last a lot longer and get promoted faster.
I have not done either (I’m a female) and can’t land a GM job if it saved my life. I ran a store for months while the GM was gone, been in every “mentorship” program, made multiple stores successful and still can’t get it. It’s always some b---s--- excuse when I ask for feedback, ie didn’t catch merchandising being incorrect or morale is great in the location so they didn’t want to bring an outsider into a new district. So, I came to the conclusion that I’m blackballed because of a DM’s input OR because I’m a female. So, I’m actively looking outside the channel or leaving all together.
@THapIJp-4tns As you post "anonymously" yourself? Hypocrite much?
Whatever... you're just mad you never had a chance with me.
Wish I could mind my own business, but thats called a conflict of interest buddy.
There are men sleeping with others to get to the top also............:
Kissing a-- and sleeping with higher ups has been the quickest way to get promoted. Just look around you and I’m sure you know of someone who’s been promoted by doing one of those things.
Mind you’re own business. Worry about yourself. That is this woman’s business. The truth is you’re a coward for posting this “anonymously.” You sound jealous and desperate. Do better!
Lol, that's been the Verizon way for years, you didn't know?
