Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Changes outside of Systems

Curious to know if there are layoffs/restructuring happening much outside of the systems function. Perhaps at Corporate, such as Finance, Investments, P&C, Marketing, etc.

No, nothing going on in Claims, Underwriting or general departments. Do you live under a rock?

No need for any further reorganization in claims. Employees are quitting in droves.

Dude - check out the older topics tab as there is a lot there to digest. Proximity down by +/- 3000, Parsippany & Tacoma closing early, weather & Proximity fire combining, Ad Services being decimated, BAs in ET getting canned. Yes, there are some new jobs being posted in the hubs & Blono, but they don't make up for everything that is being cut outside the hubs. The main take-away from all you will see is that Leadership is in full on panic mode trying to stop the loss of policies and slash expenses. One more thing: They have no problem cutting the older employees because they have the arrogance to believe that they will get away with it.
