The FTC has nothing to do with blocking this merger, it is the Department of Justice.
Larry and his wiseguys will find a way ..may take several million to buy off the regulators, but it will happen.
The deal should not happen. It's bad for CVS and is very short-sighted. CVS can't afford to buy Aetna. If it is approved, CVS will end up filling for bankruptcy in a few years.
Won't be blocked. Vertical acq . Others have been aloud recently so there's no way the FTC would block
I’d love to be a snot on Larry Merlo’s mustache if they block this thing. I honestly hope it does get blocked. It would buy us in the retail division more time before they completely eff us.
