Can I file for SDI in CA immediately after taking a medical leave of absence for maternity leave? Maternity leave at this company is 16 weeks.
TLDR: if you are depressed you can claim tax-free benefits up to 52 weeks, unemployment benefits expire much earlier and are taxable.
This works for the following states only:
