Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Went through ISP in 2016 from AZ site. Is it possible for me to rejoin in a different geographical site?

I know of at least one ISP who has received several calls from Intel (including from the employee's former manager!) to return. ACT decimated so many groups it's pathetic...needless to say the multiple offers were rejected with a rather loud "Phuque, neaux!!"...

I’m 2016 ACT in AZ (sl4boot) and I found out the other day that at least 5 people I know that took the package are back as ICE employees.

PS ... so glad to see the jackazz gone but for me I would never go back.

As others have said nope, intel is intel in all geo.

BTW lots of better places the company is in total cr@pper with BK and with his new revelation and ax it is even more a mess. Stay away for your own well being

ISP is a no go from what I hear. VSP can as far as I understand. Recently I was ready to send in my updated CV. I am glad I did not. And since then I have started in a new company. It is like a breath of fresh air. I can still remember the toxic atmosphere that was intel at the end. Everyone out for themselves and management dropping low ssl s to hit targets for the family man BK. Isn’t is ironic, don’t you think ...

I’d guess the answer is no. The no-rehire tag is in your file. Your best bet is for a new CEO to reverse the decision and wipe that tag for ACT folks

I'm sure you will get slammed by some troll that isn't an Intel employee (now or ever) for this question-but for those of us that this happened to, we all wonder that. If something does change to that screwed up policy that BK and Mr. Traylor put into place, it probably won't happen for quite some time. It may never happen. Frankly, it's past 2 years now and the humiliation I still feel would not allow me to ever go back at this point. I hope you carefully consider whether you'd really want to go back to a company that treated you this way. Good luck!

My understanding is that 2016 ISPs have a "no-rehire" clause which prevents them from being rehired by Intel ever, anywhere. It even applies internationally. Such was the vindictive and petty nature of the skumbag clown BK. So, unless there is some sort of "amnesty" put in place, you're SOL. Sorry, brah. I was VSP in 2016, but wouldn't rejoin. Company is a mess right now and will be for at least 2-3 years. Let's see if the BoD can make the right decisions and CEO choice this time.
