Murthy must be celebrating
Time to get an experienced, successful CEO from the outside. Enough of the deep state Intel of which BK was part of.
If the Board decides on someone from the outside, they will surely begin with a massive housecleaning and restructuring. Let the Hunger Games begin.
Murthy is sure going to make his pitch, but who really knows what this BOD will do? This is the first time in Intel 50-year history where they were (literally) caught with their pants down without a succession plan.
I would not say anyone would be an improvement. Murthy might be thr next one and he is going to layoff a lot.
