Can't have an internal person unless they want the same results. They are basically isotopes of one another, working with same internal connections, same patsies, etc. Need a fresh start.

Much like HP, GE, and IBM all about selecting the right manager and values. Starts BoD and CEOnand that has been absent for a few years and the rot is now getting exposed big time, and it will get uglier.
Quite a conundrum! To keep the transformation going, a TMG person would be a terrible choice. Who in TMG deserves a promo for 10nm ?? Then there’s Murthy..busy adding 14nm products to the roadmap. Again, someone so processor- centric cannot turn Intel into a data company. Worse yet, if he’s not chosen he’ll likely leave. I watched BK bench or fire people who disagreed with him...there’s no one left !
