I am hearing, from having to think about what names to give the next rif is moving from 10% to 30% or higher. This is for IT development groups, not sure about the rest of the company. Wish they would let me volunteer before the ship sinks. It is rough having to let so many people go.

Verizon is going to outsource their IT to IBM. Just working on the logistics I'm sure
The RIF is across the board in IT. Even operations is going to have another RIF. Numbers are not finalized, it was originally 10% but now is expected to be above 30%.
The upper muppets are so disconnected it’s sad! Hans is a deplorable individual, the system has been so sh--ty! Trying to navigate through your call with constant freezing and shut downs is awful! Verizons work environment is horrible, take a page out of T-Mobiles book seriously, they appreciate their employees! If you want to outsource and vendor Verizon to death, so be it.

Hans doesn't care. They care about the dividend only. IT doesn't even care about the customer they only care about cost savings.
Yes Verizon let's layoff more IT guys because your systems have been working so well since the last IT layoff... It's like upper management is straight retarded.
