Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So based on the new information, it seems likely that it was AE

According to the newest information, the affair started over 10 years ago, the employee was a middle manager when it started, didn't work closely with BK, and the employee in question still works for Intel. So that rules out DB. But it very much matches AE's biography.

AE joined in 2006 ("over 10 years ago") and held a middle management position. She didn't work directly with BK, and unlike DB, she is still with the company.

The most obvious connection: BK started handling Intel's factories and supply chains in 2007. In 2008, AE got a high profile job overseeing production lines in Israel - the job that kickstarted her career - a job for which she had no prior experience.

@1six - Agree. Deflection, obfuscation, cover-ups, fake news, unethical behavior, corruption, backstabbing, cronyism: that's what has become of one of the world's greatest companies. Sad.

Whomever the unlucky girl/guy, the real speculation is why/how the BOD used this as the public reason to off BK. The trending theory that it was the easiest to use as a cover for BK's countless business failings is the most plausible, as it assuages the shareholders and deflects from the real problems. And if we take this thread as an example, the story has done well to deflect.

@1xtu It is not speculation. It is a retarded conspiracy theory. The idea that it is DB is speculation that was made up out of nowhere. The AE speculation at least matches what we know, even if she is probably not the only possible match.

If people don‘t believe the news, then why believe that BK was ousted as CEO? Perhaps it is fake news payed for by Intel to calm the shareholders.

Makes sense? No? Well, „this news was payed for by some company“ BS generally doesn‘t make sense. If Intel could buy news articles at the WSJ, you would never see any negative news about Intel.

And the idea that Google would want to protect DB is overinflating her importance by a factor of 1000.

Why protect DB who is no longer here? What damage could be if she was the reason for the resignation? Doubtful without evidences.

@1tvb. Any proof ? Otherwise it is just a speculation.

Had heard rumors some 10 years back, that BK had mixed it up with an intern 10 years prior. So this rumor goes back some 20 years. The understanding was this intern got a position the next year immediately as an RCG. Promotion to FLM a couple years later and SLM maybe 3-4 years later. The speed from RCG to SLM was very unusual so once again there were stories told.

WSJ article says partner is still at Intel and doesn't have senior leadership position today. This rules out AE, RJ, and DB. It is probably some unknown person who we wouldn't recognize.

@ris In 2006/2007, AE was a SW Test Manager and BK was responsible for assembly test. Not a direct reporting, but certainly enough to meet e.g. at a workshop to discuss the production test cycle of a new product.

My manager said she’s gone, but he didn’t want to tell me what his source was.

AE has been offline on Skype as far as I can tell since the news broke. She is usually „Available“ when she is not out of office. Also no tweets recently.

I think it would really explain a LOT if it were her.

Can anyone confirm if AE is still around or did she whacked as well?

You guys, why only one? Could have been DB, AE and maybe even RJ. If he did it once and got away it, why not do it twice or even three times? That's how the creep's lizard brain has always worked.

True, looking at AE‘s Linkedin profile, you can see that she was working in SW, and then suddenly she got the job in Israel, which was a) not in SW and b) was probably a couple of levels above her previous paygrade. Quite bizarre.

I think we are getting hung up on the newest about one affair. In AZFSM there were rumors for years that BK had affairs with several women. Other employees need to step forward with info they may know to blow this lid off this creep's insde operation.
