NEW YORK (Reuters) - General Electric Co said on Tuesday it plans to spin off its healthcare business and divest its stake in oil-services company Baker Hughes, leaving the once-sprawling conglomerate focused on jet engines, power plants and renewable energy.

It is easy to blame GE. After all, BHI was doing so well before GE bought them. If GE hadn’t bought BHI, it would have already been history by now. Or don’t you remember?

Aye, guid riddance GE. Used to be guid here cameraderie second to none then they went and got all these ootsiders who dinnae care aboot oor ways. They dinnae even pretend to care thats the sad thing.
