Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

intel is now run by and acting CEO who says he doesn't want to be CEO. Lol

This is an easy short term short sales stock.

Don't expect an interim CEO to make big strategic changes like spinning off TMG or major layouffs. That's not fair to the permanent CEO. Swan's job is to keep the ship afloat and on course, even if the course right now is to crash into the shoreline eventually.

He's got to consider spinoff of TMG. Since Intel no longer is the leader in chip technology, there is nothing that makes this operation exceptions. Probably cheaper to buy the technology. And he can get rid of the largest group if sh-- management currently in Intel. Kill two birds with one stone.

He knows he's not qualified to be CEO of Intel so better to remove his name from consideration. No sin there. He can best help by cutting the 30% bloat created over the past 10 years. Start by looking at the titles and responsibilities of the 300+ VPs. Too many chiefs and not enough technologists. At this point all Intel should do is cut TMG loose, but it's almost impossible to bridge that time when the design groups switch to TSMC tools and technologies.

Swanny actually enjoys cutting to save company money. He sees all the waste going into BK created programs.

Bobby will support the CEO search and while at it act on his opinion made last year about staffing 😉. He will look in the mirror and reflect at his moment of luck and glory who doesn’t want to be CEO?

He will cut all the wasteful stuff just like Flanagan is doing at anothe icon, chop chop.

Running on depriciaited tool set on 14 and server Booby make the bottom line look huge and stock will pop quarter on quarter.

Internal bench is a bunch of class b c0ck Su€ers that survived BK.

I laugh at the though of Hock or Sanjay or others.

After six months and a exhaustive search Bobby will win over Jabba.

More great ACTs are assured

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@dzp - OP is only making a statement of fact that Intel is a fcking mess and deducing that therefore it's an easy short. It seems to me YOU are somehow retarded.

Uhm... you are complaining that an interim CEO only wants to hold the position on an interim basis?

Are you somehow retarded?

This situation is incredible -- just think about the situation. Intel was one of the best companies in US history and now BS, and likely many others do not want to be CEO and make the hard decisions to try to turn Intel around. This is a really bad time for Intel. Bad karma, toxic work environment, lost technology leadership, triggered and anxious employees ready to bring lawsuits against management for any small reason, paranoid leaders.... The situation at Intel is really bad and its going to get worse.

To be fair, the BS quote was from an open forum right after the BK news. As CFO, he wants to show Wall Street some degree of stability and continuity, since he has been the only Intel CxO that has performed well in the last two years. By taking himself out of the running, he eliminates a big slice of speculation and allows himself to do the job.

That said, yes, this s---er is going down!

I don’t care how great a bean counter Bobby is, he don’t know $hit about silicon and 10nm, nothing about design, AI, and graphics, but he will know how to squeeZe cost with more great ACTs.

Remember he said he couldn’t believe how many more people he could get rid of
