Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Remember Louis d'Ambrosio?

It's a perfect situation for Eddie that not only is he a majority shareholder, he is also the CEO. Because of this, he can orchestrate a controlled liquidation. Remember when Louis d'Ambrosio stepped down? I think it was because he said there was a family emergency or something like that. Did he really step down on his own or did Eddie convince him to do so, for Eddie's gain?

Maybe the 'family emergency' was his wife insisting that he find a job his family could count on for longer than Sears will be around.

@OP - Everything that takes place at SHLD is for Eddie's gain; make no mistake about that! Yes, d'Ambrosio supposedly did leave SHLD to deal with a family emergency, however, the emergency must have dissipated quickly. Within six months of leaving SHLD he managed to find a new position as Chairman, Sensus USA Inc.
