ICF buzzword was "fungibility". You were one of the 'cool", in-the-know managers if you threw this word into your conversations. It was actually a codeword for, "I keep my job, you lose your!".

Intel struggled to get customers when they were three years ahead.

Today TMG they even ship 10nmto their most important customer!

Who in their right mind would go to intel to fab anything

Shipping on TSMC 7nm

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I was at the DAC conference last week and to my surprise saw a large banner from one of the early ICF customers state that they are shipping their products on TSMC 7nm and working on 5nm products. I asked them what happened to your relationship with ICF. they were polite and said “we are still shipping our 22nm products using ICF/intel process”. FYI - I used to work in ICF.
