Jeff visiting Northwest G50 Doors last week was run out of one store by Union members. Negotiations for new contract not going well. Macy's wants to open on Christmas Day and Easter, take away PTO days, freeze some of the wages. They chased him in a stockroom. Quite the show....

No, you don’t have to use PTO for Easter. You are still going to get scheduled your same 4 or 5 days that week if you are full time. Easter Sunday becomes one of your off days.
I get Easter. Its not a federal holiday and to get paid for it, you have to use PTO. Christmas on the other hand would be strange

Macy's has become a soul-s---ing unhealthy place to work. Total lunatics are running the company. So many good employees have already left for better jobs. I'm going to be one of them very shortly.
To the person that posted dissension is not tolerated, neither is putting your store employees and customers at risk by not staffing security and expecting the ops manager to man it. Oh yes, let's cut people pay or freeze their pay , lay more people off....keep those quarterly reports looking good, as the crooks enter stockrooms and load up luggage with merchandise and threaten employees as they run out the door. Gee, maybe Jeff saw one in the stockroom he was in! You need to bring AP managers back for the safety of the store and everyone in it, before something really bad happens. Then you will have to live with it!
