Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Good advice

Courage is key for setting healthy boundaries in toxic JP Morgan, and finding your way out of one. Do all that you can to surround yourself with people who lift you up instead of drag you down. and believe me I do know this company culture, lots of deception goes around, lots managers should have no business supervising people, Take back your power now, like actually taking a proper lunch break away from your desk for 10 minutes or refusing to answer emails. Re-establish the agency you have over your own life, and start looking for a job in a company that values you and your contributions.

EPV Ops Columbus, the workforce feels bullied by management!!!, constant, and unjust criticism, being yelled at in front of co-workers, becoming the subject of gossip, feeling shunned is a daily occurrence

The Board of Directors should vote to have the Executive Officers in New York offshored to foreign countries, The stockholders would be pleased. The current regime needs to go. Have you ever seen the parade of inept senior management who have jumped ship from JPMC since the collapse in 2008.

JPMC is the next General Electric.

I worked with the best and brightest talent in Tampa, Florida. Most of us are gone now. US American employees.

Ostrich syndrome affecting JP Morgan's workers? You Can't pretend they didn't know what was going on and should know what is happening in their hubs.

True in Columbus, and Tampa, which have been seeking to hire more foreign workers in recent years under the H-1B visa program, are now being forced to reconsider their approach after the Trump administration made it harder to obtain the work permits. the loophole currently used it is to move operations to remote workers in India, and Philippines. You just can't compete with those salaries or regardless of skill set, It is not secret that your job may not be there tomorrow.

The tree major investment banks increased their H-1B applications for high-skilled workers by almost 60 percent , including JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., increasingly have been using a similar approach to hiring as tech companies, which rely most heavily on the visas. To hire foreign workers under the program, companies compete in a government lottery for a share of the 85,000 permits available annually, and that does not count the current Dev/Ops Operations offshoring that is taking place at JPMC

I think Dimon was referring to the government not American's being stupid. Kinda a misguided post by India IT Rocks. It will turn around. Globalization was a dumb idea.

There are 100+ Indians in our US/APAC team, and 12 US citizens. Why is that?

Please take the time to read what Jamie Dimon stated in the article. Your comments are offensive.

Jammie's was right when he said “It’s almost an embarrassment being an American citizen traveling around the world … listening to the stupid (Americans ) we have to deal with in this country,” he said in a call. “At one point we all have to get our act together, (Americans) or we won’t do what we’re supposed to do for the average Americans (Jobless).” I believe he was referring to finding qualified professionals in US, that is why India IT Rocks!!!
