Outside of closing stores, has there been any news on more layoffs happening any time soon?

Probably nothing big until Hans starts making changes. Expecting a quiet summer and a busy fall/winter for reorgs.
Just always assume a lot of people are about to lose their jobs.
Wireless was approaching the steady-state almost three years ago and hid a lot of their expenses in wireline and VZB, which was uncovered when they sold off the datacenters and wireline properties.
Believe it or not, that is why Lowell bought all of the Oath properties, thinking hoping and praying that it would deliver some growth. Now, how scary is that?
Going forward we should be concerned because Hans was on target for major layoffs when he was the top dog at Ericsson.
The upside is that Lowell completely laid waste to the company along with his gal pal Marnie, and the artistically impaired Diego. So Hans, now the highest paid man in Sweden will have an opportunity to resurrect his CEO reputation, by resurrecting Verizon.
What is this sh!t doing on the wireline board? Go to the wireless board!! You schmucks.
Heard the same on the sizable IT RIF, but heard late August and off payroll by end of Sept. And agree that several people volunteered for the package. Too bad they don't openly ask for volunteers, but I guess they're afraid they might get too many.

Wireless is suffering , it is going to be a slow bleeding death.
I think that could be true, but I also think that could be untrue. It could happen definitely, or it could definitely not happen. So it may come to pass, or it may not, IMHO.
@jgq, thanks for that meaningful, enlightening addition to the conversation Brother.
Eternal RIF rumors this year. No idea if any are true
Hearing a sizable IT RIF coming in July - off payroll by end of August. Know several people who volunteered for the package
