The ridiculous part about having a grocery manager do the job is that you can’t ever plan out your day, roadmap. The manager may be focusing on date rotation only to be taken away for compliance situations. The government agencies and police officers don’t care what you have planned. The removal of asset protection put this all on the grocery manager to accomplish as well as every associate or member claiming injuries. Sam’s will ultimately pay the price with the government after the current administration is gone, when the environment becomes a priority again.

I hadn't noticed but I almost hope it's true. Mine is useless. I do probably 40% of his work, the grocery team lead does 40% and he gets stressed about the remaining 20%. The last management restructure put people in positions they didn't want or deserve. Wait until the PTC goes away and the Grocery/Compliance Manager actually has to do accident files, safety meetings, and participate in training. I believe the company has chosen the wrong direction lately.
