Used to be a lot of rumors about jewelry counters becoming an unmanned counter with the installation of the new very non-functional counters... look just like Costco cases which are not manned....haven’t heard a peep about this in a long time. Anybody got any new info about this?There’s still a lot of us jewelry team leads... absolutely no communication anymore and very little jewelry coming in... they shut down the Bentonville sizing lab... is this a possible clue? How can one lab handle 600 plus clubs ?

If they are reducing jewelry Team Leads, would it make sense for a club to replace that position after it has been empty for years?
I staff our jewelry (newly remodeled version) area...No team lead for quite a while now. Personally I love the new layout, it it bright and visible to people. I am able to assist members and ring up people when the front end is over loaded.
My club still has a jewelry TL but if you drive to the club 20 minutes down the road they have the walk around counter. The way my market seems to be handling it is when the jewelry tl leaves they just dont replace them and then retrofit the counter.
I travel a bit and there has not been anyone at the jewelry counter in the last 3 clubs I have been in. I visit a club about every two weeks.
No lead at ours for at least 3 years. Center mans our Jewely the f/t is always out.
Clubs here have the “walk around” case you are referring too, retrofitted this year.. my club has not had a Jewelry TL in over 2-3 years. We just have a part time and a full time. And the full time spends most of her days doing other areas
