@TcbVyD6-eey - it is always beneficial to get rid of dead wood as you say, so hopefully Intel will do just that. I'm from Micron in Boise and we are currently going through another round of lay offs which thankfully included one of the largest pieces of dead wood many of us here have ever seen. Intel has a campus nearby her old office, so be on the lookout for the one we call the "Loafing Lady."
Could certainly see your anxiety for wanting to leave Intel. The management there treats low level employees no better than chickens in a coop.
I hope there are layoffs. Have a recent qualification all paid for and ready to leave this cesspit. Can’t stand the place anymore but can’t leave without an ISP or VSP. So I am happy to sit on my grade so just a matter of time. It was a great company but not anymore.
