Does anyone here really think that Verizon cares about them and wants them to make money? Or do you believe that Verizon will slowly (now accelerate) take commissions away, reduce the workforce, and the employees that are left will be paid close to minimum with prob beneito entice people to work there.? I'm curious if people see the big picture or are people in denial

"There are many other jobs at Verizon that pay a very decent hourly wage" Yes....like power point maker, excel wizard, store visitor, six sigma processor, better matters promoter, cell phone organizer, credo writer / reciter and many many others that bring so much value to share holders!
Why do you choose to work in a "commission" position? Get a solid job where your paycheck is a known amount every pay day. There are many other jobs in VZ that pay a very decent hourly wage.
If you’re not making money right now you’re not good find a new job.
Verizon doesn’t care about anything but money. They closed the best performing by metrics call center in Lincoln, NE a year ago.
The company loves me cause I do the right thing and am well educated. JAH guide.
Latch on to that path filled with life's great offerings, and do not be surprised if being rejected, the criteria dictate truth, honesty and, moral practices.
It’s ok! You don’t have to hide behind the curtain of “curiosity”. Just come out
Anyone who thinks the company wants to take care of their reps and help them make money is an idiot.
10 years ago yeah that was the case reps were making good money, quota was fair, the metrics were fair and there wasn’t mass micromanaging. Its been all downhill since Mcadam stepped in. The quota system is in place to ensure majority make a set amount of money, the metrics and the comitments they do ensure an easy case to fire/lay people off. Everything is designed against the frontline worker
I think in its infancy the company was set up for reps, managers, etc... to make money
