Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Quincy, IL

"This mall lost J.C. Penney and Bergner's (Bon-Ton). Now it's losing Sears. All of a sudden, this mall has no more department stores.

This is the 7th mall that's losing Sears and Bon-Ton simultaneously."

Kind of unusual for JCPenney to close the Quincy store, but keep the smaller store in smaller Hannibal open

Going to clear some stores out by the end of summer! Remember what Eddie said at the beginning of the year.

According to a previous tweet from the same account, Sears Holdings is down to 863 stores, or 862 including this new closure, down from 1,002 in February.
