Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Amazing how CEO is able to keep his job despite bringing company to this miserable situation? he MUST BE FIRED.

BoD and CEO keeping their job at the expense of everything.

They only meet expectations about giving false promises from quarter to quarter.

I hear in news CEOs taking responsibilities and stepping down or kicked out in other companies, but this moron is standing firm. If he had any shame, he would have stepped down by now.

Morale is so low all across the company.

No one is talking about technology innovations. No one working. Folks (including myself) are extremely worried about jobs, family..

CEO must be fired. The BoD is running a scam. This must stops.

Is there anything we (employees) can do to avoid pain to engineers who are left except for leaving the company?

What you state is the obvious and we all know, OP. Unfortunately you and I are not on top of the food chain. So we can only do the things under our control, rather the thing under our control, which is ... leaving the company

Their rationale is..it has to get way way worse before it gets better..JT clearly said he doesnt care abt attrition or any of that sh-- as long as his job is safe..

@byp you are right!! Mollenkopf has not grown the company in earnings or share price for 5 years now. Same for Davis. These guys are bad for the company and bad for the shareholders.

They have failed at the one thing they are supposed to do: increase stock price.

SM has been CEO for last 4+ years and has not been successful to deliver earnings nor drive stock price (down almost 30%).

Next time when manager comments on improvements during review meetings and says salary cannot be increased because of that.. show him all these facts.

When a person who has to show vision to company, who has to lead by example is performing below expectations and still getting bonus , rsu ... Why hard working engineers are being penalized.
