Thread regarding Sears layoffs

I thought closings were "screeching to a halt" ? I thought the past was the past? What "news" does our cheerleader have today?

The stores keep closing , time keeps marching on , how wide can the aisles get ? Shipping online orders from stores instead of distribution centers? Please oh great oracle of knowledge , wisdom and understanding communicate to us the reason why you say the things that you do.

These last few unprofitable stores will be closed and then the remodels (that many of you are already seeing ) will begin.

Stock is already flowing to the stores like crazy.

Everything is going to be fine.

@1ceg- I found that insinuation hilarious as well. For several years when I did OOS in tools there were sections that were continuously void of merchandise. The corporate explanation was that they were securing a new vendors. Our store closed two years ago, so after a period of approximately four years these corporate rah-rah posters are now insinuating that the situation has finally been rectified. Yeah, like I believe that! LOL

I doubt they are trolling, they are on the tool reset thread insinuating that OOS will be replaced lol

You're overthinking it. They're just trolling.

I think that person has fallen for "power of positive thinking" self-help nonsense. They seem to think the only reason stores keep closing is not enough people believe stores will stop closing. At least they're apparently giving us a break from their flood of nonsense for a little while again, so the reality-based community can keep up with the real news easier.
