At NDC all insiders moved to cyclone and protected their jobs, it’s reality.
horses mate donkeys they produce mule. Mule cannot further reproduce. They are sterile and non productive. Same with cyclone and zip. What you will get outta the two is junk.
Cyclone is the only hope for Dell EMC storage. Either you swim or sink. Make cyclone a success or kill it.
Cyclone will never get released for the sole reason it is across distributed sites. NDC says it is working on it and in the process all senior qa are getting promoted to principal qa.
Geez. Should they continue to sell old Compellent and VNX technology. There needs to be consolidation of the portfolio. Unifying some of the storage products and driving towards the future is the key to improving the mid-range market. Whining because you have some allegiance to old technology is not. Let me get all of you some rotary phones connected to land lines so you can use old technology to call each other and share your pain.

Cyclone can't/won't be merged with another product; until it is s product itself.
