First many in here said DSD would be done at the end of 2017, then April 2018, now it’s September 2018? When September comes and goes, and DSD is still happening, what’s the next date? Inquiring minds want to know!

Your boss is a liar!! Keebler isn’t considering getting back into dsd, I can guarantee that! You think they spent millions eliminating dsd, selling their fleet, letting go their entire sales force only to change their minds? Wake up fool! Your boss is a liar!!!
DSD isn't going away!
My RMS said that Keebler was looking to get back into DSD. Their sales have gone down since they exited DSD and Nabisco's sales have increased
They will continue to fill open positions, this way they will have people till the end! There will be an exodus when an announcement comes, not everyone will be receiving a severance.
We just hired 2 new swing reps.......why would we do that if were gone in 4 months???
You're a fool to believe that DSD isn't ending!! DSD ending is a moving target. No one knows when! Wake up and look at the signs and red flags!
CAO! You really think you'll still have your position?? Changing pack size from 12 to 6! Customer request from Kroger! That way when products come in through their warehouse it will go right to the shelf. We've lost space multiple times with the new resets! They've already discontinued the party size at Kroger. I was told that Kroger is shrinking our sections yet again in July. That's when Kroger goes CAO everywhere. Walmart is going CAO everywhere in June. Educate yourself! Rumors don't always pan out on when it's happening but it's happening. That's a fact!

It's just business kids. Their only goal is to maximize profits. Even after all the layoffs in the U.S. revenues are still declining. Sales are declining. People are eating healthier foods. The decision to exit dsd has been made awhile ago. We're just waiting for stores and their warehouses to be ready for the transition. We all want this to roll out as smooth as possible. So.....right now we are committed, in a few months.... not so much.
To the guy that posted the original post..how long have you been with the company? Better yet, how long have you been in this business?? I think you don't want to see the inevitable.. I don't blame you.. I used to love this job..the pride we felt to be part of this organization, the freedom we had, the limitless potential we were.. but now... now , we're just a shell of what we once were.. take it from a veteran of this business.. we are losing money each day.. especially when we start letting these stores dictate what we do.. with CAO, do you know that the new case minimum is 40.. No matter if it's a 3 delivery a week store.. Do you know that we are now being asked to assist in checking in deliveries because that's best business practices.. maybe it's to the store's benefit , but does it benefit the company especially with the labor budget?? We were told, "well, Publix has been CAO for the past 6 years".. we pulled out of the independent food chains years ago too.. they probably made up about as big a market as Publix.. fact is, even with those 2 markets combined, they don't even even add up to 1/3 of the number of Wal-Mart s.. and now, the possibility of Kroger following their lead.. that's #1 and #2 customers for us.. what will that leave us with?? You sound like your young.. Do yourself a favor and don't let them fool you.. enthusiasm like yours is what companies need.. find yourself one that's worth an employee like yourself. .

Exactly! Know one knows exactly when! All I can tell you is what stores are telling me and they claim that they're taking over ordering and merchandising in August.
Since you seem to believe dsd is here to stay, what do think all the flags are about? You think Mondelez is going to pay sales reps to tweak orders and out of the kindness our their hearts we will still deliver and merchandise the stores computer generated order? Sound pretty profitable there! Nobody knows an exact date but we all will in due time, educate yourself!!!
