Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

What has NABISCO became !

It don’t seem like the same job it once used to be. Changes are coming! Nabisco used to be a good place to work for and now it’s rough. This new CAO is crazy... they won’t you to upsell what Walmart don’t work. Walmart goal is to have 0 backstock. That wouldn’t even be possible for nabisco to run a business with the expense the company has. Labor, cell phone bills , profit, and company cars.... wake up this will not last that much longer before it’s over. Well if you don’t see it I do. Walmart only has 1 receiver in the back now. The reclamation receiver position is gone. It’s a lot of signs. Look for job now while you can. The incentives are even a joke and isn’t even worth its. They want you to work and hit the bonus and pay you the minimum.

This job truly has become a joke! Maybe they are trying to make everyone so miserable they quit and don’t have to let everyone go when they pull the plug on dsd? In my 20 years I’ve never seen things this bad! Not even close!

Total turnaround from where things were just a few years ago! Never seen morale this low. Only thing exciting about this job is the paycheck and weekends! Used to be far different! Gonna get far worse! Makes it really hard to want to perform well!! Just riding this wave out till it ends, very soon!

Mondelez International continues to represent one of the most egregious examples of CEO-to-worker pay inequality. The company, which makes Nabisco products such as Oreos, Chips Ahoy and Ritz Crackers, is leading the race to the bottom and continues to embrace inequality.

According to its Securities and Exchange Commission filings, former Mondelez CEO Irene Rosenfeld received $17.3 million in 2017 – 403 times the median pay of rank-and-file employees. Mondelez also had a new CEO start in 2017. Dirk Van de Put made more than $42.4 million in total compensation in 2017 – more than 989 times the median rank-and-file employee pay. Last week, a majority of Mondelez shareholders rejected the company’s advisory vote on executive compensation.

Dirks comment on putting the customer first has nothing to do with dsd!?? Not sure why that’s being mentioned! He’s referring to giving the customers what they want, and the purchase of Tate’s was a direct correlation. He recognizes the need to move into the niche market, as today’s younger generations don’t want Oreo!! That’s giving the customers what they want. His obligation is to the shareholders, and turning things around in NA, we are bleeding the company. I will be one of those let go, as will you. Nobody will be happy, otherwise we would not be working here today. Moral is at an all time low, things just are not fun as they used to be! Be smart!!’

Wrong!!!!! Who cares what “we” are committed to,”we “ don’t own the stores. “We “ aren’t going CAO at WM, “they” are. “We” aren’t going CAO at Kroger later this summer, “they “ are. Are you seeing the picture yet? Easy for Dirk to say he’s committed to dsd, makes it easy when he unemployees thousands and makes $45M next year. Quit fooling yourself, dsd is going away!

Power of dsd isn’t in delivering and merchandising, duh! Once retailers go CAO we are done! Who cares about one small chain that’s been CAO, their impact was minor! When Kroger and WM go CAO.....we are done! Anyone who doesn’t recognize that, chooses to ignore the inevitable!!!

Short notice means that the severance must be lousy. Definitely won't be as good as the elves received. I'm sure that we'll get screwed over!
