Thread regarding CVS layoffs

NO new minimum for shift supervisors etc

Shift supervisor (soon to be whatever the new job title is, I forget) Found out I'll still be making the same as a cashier even after the raises, which will be insignificant. I had a pretty positive view of the company until these events, now I think I'll have to move on to one of the local factory jobs or some other retail setting where my increased responsibility and workload will be acknowledged with cash.

CVS compensation department is nothing more than an extension of Larry. Even after his pay cut, Larry makes 250 times more than a Pharmacist. This company has thrown in the towel on retail,

They make money in spite of themselves.

also in florida and the shift salary only went up to 15.50. Great way to make workers stop caring about their job.

RX 13-$18

Lead RX 13-$21.50

That’s for Florida. Came out today.

Where are these new minimums? If there were any changes we would know about them by now. I don't think there will be any change at all.

...then it's pretty safe to assume that other regions such as the midwest will receive less or absolutely nothing.

DL told me cutoff for cashiers was going to be $13.50....yet we haven't been informed of anything else but pay increases. Why the hold up on this? DL wants us to hype this up, but how can you create hype when you don't have real numbers?

Has anyone actually seen the pay ranges for the 5 positions? I know all markets have different pay scale but our bosses are saying we have to wait til review time in July to see the range..

Yeah same thing with me, my shifts make 15, 14 and 13 depending on if they are slashRX or not. If after all this in July your SM aid only paying th same as cashier, he’s only looking out for MCP and s---s.

Not to defend this sh--ty company but the person who has the biggest impact on your wage and overall time with the company is your direct manager. My supervisors make 13.50 an hour because I would rather not have high turnover. My MCP is not as great because of it but my store usually looks immaculate because people feel valued.
