The traffic is slow for all carriers. I did a secret shop in Sprint and AT&T stores in my area and they were as dead as we were and it was a weekend. People are done shopping in stores for cell phones. We burned our bridges by shoving all this unwanted crap on the consumer and now we are paying the price.
@2wta..... lol.....i guess you d i d n ‘t t y p e s l o w e n o u g h. And then, much to OUR ‘chagrin’, you blamed it on spell check for a GRAMMAR boo-boo in a comment text box. And much to OUR ‘chagrin’ you responded to your own post with an excuse.
We call that a KARMA FAIL you sour, sarcastic, little sh--.
I think the joke's on all. This has got to be the "is-no-rif-is-most-agile" guy pulling our collective leg.
Well done, Sir!
me knot sur @TlfLYRF-2eax have point butt me tink may bee they tri say sum thing. who no!
2eax please Bro, have some pride. If you want to be listened to, and taken seriously, don't say, "open 10to4 no special promotions to bring people in to buy add lines etc, so waste of time business as usual, and let blame the reps".
It sounds robotic. It sounds stupid.
2eax, there is this program on my computer called spellcheck that sees a phrase such as "neck and neck" as redundancy that must be eliminated and, to my chagrin, does so without notification. But, please do not let such minor annoyances sour you on the US.
"Memorial Day stores open 10to4 no special promotions..."
"...so waste of time business as usual, and let blame the reps..."
@2eax, please hang in there. Do not be discouraged. English is one of the most difficult of languages to learn to a non-native. You are running and neck with my preschooler at this point so, you deserve to be proud of all that you've accomplished so far. Though you may not realize it, I am typing veerrrryyy slowwwwly so that this is not too difficult to keep up with.
Kudos! (in your new country's native tongue the word "kudos" is a means of expressing congratulations)
Memorial Day stores open 10to4 no special promotions to bring people in to buy add lines etc, so waste of time business as usual, and let blame the reps when they don't produce!
@1coj, np. Idiocy is very transparent.
@dcv. No, not the OP. But thanks for knowing what I was thinking. They’re obviously doing Jedi training in Russia.
Didja ever think that by training our customers to become self-sufficient and do stuff like content transfer themselves that....at some point...we might become completely useless to them?
And that maybe they'd prefer to buy their Apple or Samsung phone somewhere else where they weren't jamming hella stuff at you like Hums or other bull$h!t?
We're at that point now. We're no longer useful to our customers.
Out of curiosity, how much foot traffic does your local Apple stores have?
Buying habits have changed, mobile, Amazon, Walmart.com...its only going to get worse. Do a search of bankrupt retail from 2016 to now and that is you answer. Also take a look at zombie malls video. VZ has to shrink its retail footprint and use digital, count on retail job losses. If they don't do this they will go the way of the dinosaur

You say this like it's a Verizon issue. Look around you, retail stores (even very popular ones) are experiencing less foot traffic and are closing faster and faster. Digital platforms are easier and more convenient for people.
You'd think people would go try on bras at Victoria's Secret, for instance. Instead, quite the opposite!

Why would anyone go into a cell phone shop in this day and age? Its a snake pit. I tell all my friends and family Verizon Stores are snake pits.
I just buy everything online. Easy peasy. Bye bye retail.
@pua, you are the OP and, let's be real, you know an inference when you see one.
What do you think you were talking about?
Couldn't resist inserting politics to a subject on which it had no bearing, could you?
@hs1.... OP didn’t mention the president, YOU did...you somehow read between the lines on his observation about the political unease he/she said maybe’ affecting our traffic. So lay off the hair trigger, predefensive rhetorical sarcasm.
Ironically, you just made his point.
OP, since he's been elected, it rains more, milk is quicker to sour, bee colony collapse disorder is rising, crops have failed in India, what else can we pin on him?
OP, your reasoning is unsound.
OP, you saying it's Trump's fault?
Yes, it's "political angst", dummy.
That's what's been keeping me out of supermarkets and car washes as of late.
Shopping online is a much easier, more enjoyable experience. No pressure to buy what you don't want or need!
