Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

L3 Vertex Aerospace and TCS sold

Vertex Aerospace and TCS have officially been sold to American Industrial Partners.

I feel sorry for people who will most likely lose their jobs due to this, but frankly, I think this is a good thing for us.

There will be more layoffs so don’t get too comfortable with a place you can’t trust

Nobody from Vertex wants to transfer to anything L3, so don’t lose any sleep over it.

The sale was finalized on friday, the 29th.

Vertex folks are no longer L3. Not eligible to transfer to any other L3 division for 24.months. L3 seniority won't carry over.

Who is us? To me, us is Vertex.

TCS is part of Vertex, just as Crestview, part of the reorganimation that took place last year. Mama L3 packaged us together to make it more saleable and attractive to a potential buyer.

Vertex never fit into L3's business model as the profit margins are not in line with the other L3 divisions.
