Boston Celtics GE on the Uniform

Any thoughts as to if the cost of sponsoring the Boston Celtics makes sense given the condition the company is in?

Anyone else scratching their heads on this while watching the NBA finals?

Yes there is money involved. It cost GE $7 million. This deal, with the Celtics, was signed in Jan. 2017.

$10 million spent on a useless expense. Well maybe not useless. Flann and the group at HQ get some court side seats for the $10 million. And somehow GE employees should trust the company leaders to do the right thing when they pull stunts like this.

Maybe they are sponsoring to get more business, buddy.

Maybe they are trying to keep jobs with increasing revenues by marketing.
