Looks like this is a pretty sizable cut at Dell. I would like to write about it for Business Insider if I can find out a few more details such as the names of the teams being cut and locations, and any guess as to how many people are impacted in those teams. Big cuts

Dell has been losing their most talented engineers in the storage space for about 2 years. The ship is sinking, Dell will go down when Cyclone can't compete and they have no viable alternative.

i dont think she can report on any of this - i am not with dell any more so cannot help you right now - i think what the journo needs is someone with 'real' contact info to fill her in on details - all of this anon stuff is not gonna cut it (i am assuming she is reliable and has some reputation to worry about - so, cannot risk to report based on all of this anon noise)

Last years poor sales figures due to EMC sales leadership really messed it all up for MRES .Storage seems to be getting back on track now . . Today’s WFR is the fallout from 2 years of routing out bad apples ..

RTP hit hard today. 30-40 people in one room with more on a remote call, one swift axe came down. Who knows how many total with those on the call.

The updates will continue, they'll just be done in India now rather than the US.
