The post below most likely cdescribes the condition of Sears in most major markets. Might even be more of the Sears there because that sounds like quite a few for such a small state even when you consider population density.

Doesn't leave too many Sears in eastern Mass. Cambridge who sold their building, Saugus which went to one floor and still has no tenant for the vacant second floor a year later, Natick with the Reit construction, and Marlboro with the very young SGM.
