I'm not sure what you are asking about the 60 days pay, so I will tell you what I know. They informed us of this change today 6/8/2018. We have until 8/6/2018 to take another position in the club or take the severance plan. You will be paid your regular pay until the end of this transition. After that, it's up to you as to what you do. Below is my reply to this topic. Please take the time to read it.

I was just informed of this change (6/8/2018) in our Dallas Texas Club today. I wasn't surprised, as I had found out about the pilot program several months ago on the Wire. I just didn't know how fast or company wide they were going to roll it out. They said I could change positions or take severance pay. There are a few points I would like to make about the options. First of all, if the position they offer you would result in a pay cut, you do NOT have to take a pay cut! If YOU choose to step down to a lower paying position, yes. But if they eliminate the position, NO! Stand up for yourself on this one because I know a lot of people who have believed what they were told. Second of all, if they do offer you a position and you decide not to take it, you can't decide to quit and then take severance pay. "If you are offered (a) comparable job within the company and decline the new position, you are not eligible for severance." As soon as the guy told me that "changes were coming to wireless" I told HIM what they what going to be, because I already knew. As a LONG time associate, I would like to think I know what I am talking about or at least believe that this information is correct. Now it's time to weigh my options and see what positions the offer me. Good luck to everyone that finds themselves in the position.

I think that you should sign up members with ridiculous deals and help them out. The company will be left to take care of them, as they should.

Hasn't been announced here yet but the lead DirecTV guy is sure hanging around the kiosk more and talks to members about phones when I'm taken away. Pretty sure he knows something.

Yeah the company has been sending out info on a few departments today markets at a time. Don’t know how long they plan to stretch out the markets but they have started.

I know they are wanting connection associate to train but what I don’t know is:

1) how far out is their start date? (In my market we haven’t been told its even happening but I know ours will be in a few months)

2) I know they are offering severance for the other department i know about but haven’t heard about wireless (also because I’m not suppose to know yet)

3) are they doing the 60 days like they did for the clubs that closed? Meaning you weren’t forced to work the 60 days but if you put in any hours, are you getting paid that plus an average of your last two months for the 60 days (not talking severance) or till you take another position in the company which ever comes first?

Of course these questions probably only apply to the full time connection associates. As far as I know, I don’t think part timers get these options since they are part time.
